she sees:
what's in jen gotch's closet (her commentary makes me laugh)
the most amazing orange cake (suddenly i'm hungry)
elle moss's totally original creativity (might have to purchase something from her)
an opportunity to feed my scarf addiction (why not?)
and this concludes today's slice of my bursting Google Reader.
in other news, the roller coaster continues. each day is its own self-contained recipe of heartbreak, strength, confusion, and determination. today i wonder what keeps me going, what keeps me standing up, what gets me out of bed in the morning.
there is a love that never fails
there is a healing that always prevails
there is a hope that whispers a vow
a promise to wait while we're working it out

other things that make my days possible:
- prayers that reach me on holy wings from seattle, chicago, idaho, new york, denver, and detroit
- voicemail romance
- long island iced tea
- devil wears prada
- my pink moleskine
- letters from the west that always come at the perfect time
- the suffering that precedes mine

I adored that closet commentary. I want to make my own, but would like to pick up a few new pieces before the photographs begin. C'est la vie, no?
I like this bit of inspiration, the dedicated, directed distraction.
it is national poetry month in your brain.
"dolphin mermaid."
amazing.
Humbug.
You're haunting me today.
Just the little ghost of you peeking out of my red shoes, hopping behind the tulips over by the plum tree, riding a raven down from the West bench and into the crown of the spruce tree in the front yard. Look at that, you tipped the sugar bowl over and turned on the garden hose. You sassy little poltergeist.
Don't ever leave the hem of my jeans.
I'd float away without your ghostly little self as my anchor.
yes. the mini asian goes everywhere. she's capricious. watch out.
...and BUY the scarf...it is as beautiful as YOU...
You mean so much.
Being thrown away is one of the worst things imaginable, and of course I don't know your inner state but you seem to be doing so well, really. You haven't lost yourself and that is something so wonderful; in fact, you seem to be finding as much as you've lost, perhaps more.
