and the intrigue that comes with something new --- it's unsure, the steps are unknown. there's no safe context or carved-out way. you just have to drive away wondering and (if you're me) try not to think about it too much . . .

life is stranger than i know and always surprises me.
i hope this chapter holds some good surprises.
i'm tired of the unpleasant ones.
i want my world back. i want myself back.
inch by inch this province is being reclaimed.
