un peu de tout

a little bit of everything for you today; it's one of THOSE days.

you know, one of those days when i make use of my cell phone for the first time today and 5 seconds into the call, i get another call beeping in. 5 seconds after that, another. and just like that, i have 2 new voicemails. what? i haven't touched the contraption all day. the second i use it, everyone i know (or 1/812th of the people i know) needs to reach me? oh, bother.

but it's good to have a full life, despite its tendency to descend all at once.
thank you Lord for the fullness of life.
some days i can barely keep my eyes open for the fullness i stumble upon.

truth must dazzle gradually ---

oh, mademoiselle dior cherie. je voudrais etre toi. i want to be you. please let it happen. i'll get the bunch of balloons --- you give me the dress and the 9-mile-long legs. and the parisian cityscape to sweep across from a point high above the earth clutching a collection of your gorgeously bottled parfum . . .

You're a blessed, passionate and inspiring creature She.

Thank you.

My day is always full of fullness - I have four children...

Today is breakfast, hugs from my babies, hot chocolate, deep conversations, washing on the line (while daydreaming at the Springy Australian sun)...

It's full of hope, it's a little anxious that I get it all done - but in the end it's the confidence in God's love which is all I need to remember to receive.

Blessings.
