amazing how the combination of the same words

in different ways can mean so many things

amazing how the same words 

to different people can speak of different worlds,

seventeen loves, ghosts and future dreams

Never Mind.

things you only hear in a dentist's office:
"yep, yep, just like that...you're doing so great, it's just like a baby bird!"
"we added a build up due to fracture on the lingual."
"he might look at the canine premolar relationship..."

at least i imagine this cone of enamel is the only place you hear these types of things spoken...and i hope it, for the world's sake. no one should have to hear such strange bemusing things. i'm not sure what i did to deserve it, but here i am...

it seems everything went by in a blur and i kind of feel like i missed it. i was so busy working, nose making sparks on the grindstone, that i didn't see any of the scenery. i was running the fog machine so i missed the magic. and i love being on this side of the curtain, but sometimes that means that things go by and i wake up thinking it was all a backbreaking dream.

large coke
grande iced latte
2 tiny triangles of white cheddar
muesli bread with honey peanut butter
12 grapes
1 hard boiled egg

apparently, caffeine is over all, sustains all, and wins.

things can only stay this way for so much longer

before we are found out, and the world adjusts its spin.

watch for the green light, close your eyes, feel the stop.

this planet does not revolve for us, but sometimes,

in the late night, with the lamp on and the moon high,

it feels like everything will return so much more magnificently.
