{ friday finds : boots }

the onset of cooler temperatures has launched this shoe lover into fits anew over all the fall footwear options in the wide world. and the rise of the skinny jean (surprisingly wearable, under the right conditions) has made me ever aware of the wonderful things about shorter boots. because while my beloved tall boots actually fit over my skinny jeans (a silhouette i will never stop loving), i'm a hotblooded lady and sometimes i don't want to walk around all day with my legs completely encased in leather. ew, that sounded horrible.

so, booties. i already own a few pairs: one style in two colors i wore the heck out of last winter, and another faux-leather pair from target that's held up remarkably well. and i find myself reaching for any and all of these boots every time i get dressed lately. (another great thing about shorter boots is that i don't have to feel like a she-man when my muscular legs don't fit into them.)
