overheard

one of my patients talking to his nurse in the treatment room about buying gifts for women:

"if you want to have a happy life, don't buy your lady anything with a plug!"

well at least they learn something over the years. this guy is 70. i hope whichever guy i find learns his fair share before the age of 70. i guess when you find someone you want, you're willing to give them time.

(i'm going to give you time. i found you and i want you.)

the same patient just yelled at rachael ray, "rachael ray, don't TELL me these are 30 minute meals, i've TRIED makin' 'em and i can't do 'em in 30 minutes!!"

i'm a fan. of this guy, and of the fact that he's the main cook in his family. my person cooks and he's good at it. i'll just encourage, and let him use, that gift ;)
