T is for Tomorrow

if you have any advice on / alternate method to implementing a precise countdown, by all means share them via comment on the previous post. otherwise, i'm ditching the countdown dilemma and diving right into the best option available at the moment: T is for Tomorrow. Tomorrow = It Had Better Not Snow = Blast Off = Layover in San Francisco = On To Paradise.

are you in hawaii?
are on on the beach
wearing coconuts?
{ jsl, voicemail }

some quick Friday loves & linksies (pardon my loopiness, i'm goin' on vacation Tomorrow) . . .

vintage Gustavian bed from Viva Terra (via Apartment Therapy). i'm not sure if it's the bed i'm truly loving or the amazing colorscape of that bedding . . . either way i don't have to worry my pretty little head about it because it's just slightly out of my price range at around $2,000 once you've paid for shipping.

if you know me, you know that of course i noticed
(and immediately commenced coveting) those gorgeous shams.
they're the organic cotton woodland shams from Viva Terra.

these little pieces of porcelain art have been all over the design blogworld today (i.e. here at poppytalk), and i'll add my praise - i like them (now wasn't that original)! i especially like this one, the Miniature Abstract 3. i love all the bright colors and the fact that it looks like a huge, bejeweled, multi-faceted, precious gem.

finally, another trend that's all the rage across the creative landscape today: i love you more than ________. folks are already looking and launching toward Valentine's Day and all its colors, paper products, and sentiments. this project was featured today on Creature Comforts and A Cup of Jo - check it out.

or go directly to the source and submit your
i love you more than ________s at paperwhite's project blog.
there's also a sister blog, paperwhite hearts, that has some fun stuff.

well friends, that's all i got.
so in a few minutes i'm gonna fly out of here for a few days.
you didn't think i'd leave you empty handed, did you?
no. of course not --- now go have fun clicking around!
i'll catch you on the flip (214% more tan) side.

---she.

ooooooh that bed. amazing. we bought a new (king size) bed recently which i Love but we still don't have a frame. i would buy this one, if it wasn't too expensive and the wrong size(...damn antiques!). so i'm jealous about the trip to hawaii. BUT steve and i have decided we're going to go to spain likely in september so now i have something to look forward to! well have a great time! happy weekend!
