inspiration & temptation: coat edition

if you know me, this coat choice is so typical . . . but i want it SO badly.
it's my color. it would match my lips (and nails) flawlessly.
seriously, what's a girl to do?

i still need to figure out what color to paint my new room (if i ever actually move in). this morning i was inspired toward a light blue with some sort of white scrollwork stenciled in certain places. what? who does that? i don't even have light blue in my bedding. but the white-on-blue sounds so tranquil. it also sounds a little femme-frilly to me. all i know is, i'm painting it. i've never painted a room a color at all and this is my year.

i'm so distracted by all the things i want to do/buy that i keep hopping from one pretty lily pad of daydreams to another. that's right. i'm a squawking little frog in a big, beautiful pond.

this is going to be problematic . . .
back to work. back to trying to tame these wandering eyes.
(and that made me sound really creepy, but you know what i meant.)
