ohhhhh friday

this week has just been so weird, i've been up at all hours, and i haven't read nearly as much of Harry Potter V (Order of the Phoenix) as i've wanted to. my roommate asked last night what i was doing this weekend, and i realized that even by Thursday night just about every moment of this weekend is already committed to something. it makes me slightly cranky. but i'm living a full life and taking advantage of many opportunities, and that makes me happy. and proud. not too long ago all i wanted to do was curl up in a corner and cry for a few years; but here i am, dashing around in the sunlight, eyes up and heart ready for whatever rises to meet me.

(okay, well, my heart is as ready as it is right now --- who knows if i'll ever be ready for what this whole mess turns out to be about --- or if i'll ever know what this whole mess is about.)

what i DO know is that i want this bedroom to be my bedroom. now.

a close-up of that WINDOW SEAT:

yeah. like i said. now.
(this home found here, originally featured on Skona Hem: one of the sources of all good things. other sources of all good things: Anthropologie, Target, guacamole. wait, what?)

alors, ce weekend:
- wedding rehearsal (i'm the lone musician! on piano!) + Avatar
- some manual labor + wedding + reception
- singing, learning, remembering
- hopefully some reading, eating, and sleeping
- i don't think there will be room for much more . . .

et vous, mes cheries?

I'm in utter agreement on the sources of all good things (though Skona Hem's a new one to me-- I should probably check that out now, considering my boss pretty much demolished my desk last night and I'm not really in the mood to pick through the rubble at the moment).

You'll find room to breathe. Just remember to soak in all the good things.

Reality weekend: Going to the Gilbert Ranch to be a cowgirl on Saturday. Sunday, recovery from being a cowgirl.
