oh, sigh.

i woke very early this morning (like 2:16 a.m. early) to the sound of deafening thunder right outside my window. i don't usually wake up for any of the temperamental midwestern storms we get, so the fact i was roused means it must've been an unusually loud one!

at some point the power went out (well, at 3:41 a.m., since that's what my alarm was flashing when i woke up at 6:15), and all of the electric barometric craziness gave me WEIRD dreams. i can't remember any of them, i never really do, but i woke up feeling unsettled, and like my limbs weighed 500 pounds. blah. i live with a self-professed "non-air conditioning person", which means the temperature and humidity in the house is off the charts. gross.

therefore the look of this bedroom in Greece really appeals this morning. like, a lot. and i really like that tendrilly reading light too. and the bedcurtains, and the natural light, and the white palette. i'm sure in this bedroom in Greece it's never humid, and whoever sleeps in this bed only has the airiest, most wonderful dreams.

or maybe i just really want to go back to bed.
who needs to get up, shower, and go to work anyway?
i seriously need to get a job i can do from home.
and yeah, by "from home" i mean "from my bed".
don't judge me.

Any light called a tendril light is a light I need.

I'm having a morning where I'm acutely aware of missing you. I think we need a phone date and soon.
loves!
